The Grand Prize was awarded to "Flux" by Sae Okura, which embodied the theme "Cross the Border" in the form of "flow," recognized for its delicate yet powerful craftsmanship visible from every angle. The Category Special Prize was awarded to "Bloom" by Chency Emma Louise, recognized for its distinctive shape line and the high level of completeness of its world view.
The Grand Prize was awarded to Miwako Kawauchi’s nature made with many delicate techniques and the Judges’ Special Award was given to Ryoma Chikami’s Cokage Hat made with 400 layered magnolia leaves without any seams.
The Grand Prize was awarded to Yasumasa Shimoshikiryo’s INFINITY for his approach to the theme, finishing touches and other aspects and the Craftspersonship Award (the current Judges’ Special Award) was given to Momoko Fujii’s Burning in the hajizome color – 2 for her traditional techniques used to bring out the charm of the materials.
The Grand Prize was given to Shunsuke Gunji’s spacescape with which he expressed his world view to the fullest.
